HOW DO I GET PRICING AND HOW DO I BOOK YOU?
My pricing will vary depending on the time of the year, day of the week and location of your event. Distance is a big factor in my pricing. Please contact me with your date and location, and I will give you a quote very quickly. If you would like to proceed, I will send you a quick on-line contract with an e-sign and you're booked! The deposit is 20 percent (which is obviously applied to the balance).
WHEN IS MY BALANCE DUE?
One week prior to the wedding but you can make payments as you please along the way.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU ARE ILL AND CANNOT MAKE THE WEDDING?
I have a long list of photographers I can go through and it's up to me to find a comparable photographer but in the twelve years I've been photographing weddings, that has not happened once!
DO YOU WORK WITH A SECOND SHOOTER?
Yes I do but I have packages where you can eliminate the second shooter to save money. I started shooting weddings BEFORE it was popular to have a second shooter so I am perfectly capable of shooting a wedding by myself. Depending on the circumstances such as number of guests, layout of the venue and whether or not the bride and groom are getting ready in close proximity to one another, we together will determine whether it is necessary to have a second shooter!
WHAT GEAR DO YOU USE AND DO YOU HAVE BACK-UP EQUIPMENT?
I use Nikon's top of the line D4s as my main camera and a Nikon D4s as my second camera as well. I have a Nikon D700 in my bag as a back-up. My favorite lens is my portrait lens which is an 85mm 1.4. My "workhorse" lens is my 24-70mm 2.8 which constantly stays on one camera. My second camera is switched with the 85 described above and the 70-200mm 2.8 VR2.
WHAT IS YOUR STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY?
I've been asked this many times and I guess the best way to describe my style is a capture the moments style with an added artsy flair with plenty of whimsy, fun and a touch of a vintage vibe.
DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONALITY..YOURSELF
Well, I act very professional at your wedding but in reality I'm just a goofy, silly person that says such silly things to my husband that I'm surprised he even responds! If you are silly and laid back we'll get along just fine! Don't get me wrong, I'm very focused and unobtrusive while photographing weddings. I have SUCH a competitive edge that all I want to do is exceed your expectations and WOW you with your images (and I do every time!). In this day and age of social media, I want to hit it out of the park every time because a huge audience will see my work. Other than that, I'm a mother of 3 amazing kids, married to a wonderful (and also silly) man. We LOVE to travel and explore new places. I once read a quote that said "in order to be a good photographer, you must love life MORE than photography" - That pretty much sums me up in one paragraph! ;)
